ABOUT US
Twenty years ago, Las Vegas-based Soil-Tech saw the need for construction and development industries to start doing their part to save our Valley’s most precious resource – water – and set about to create a comprehensive set of tools to accomplish this goal. From their pioneering work, with their cost effective and eco-friendly products, specialized soil stabilization services and erosion control techniques, and vast expertise in native revegetation, millions and millions of gallons of water can be saved each year.
Since its inception, over twenty years of honing and perfecting their craft Soil-Tech has positioned itself as the leader in environmental restoration and water conservation in the greater Southwest. With the goal of “Balancing Construction with Nature,” the company boasts advanced techniques in soil stabilization, water conservation, erosion control and hydroseeding. An earliest pioneer in the green movement (before it was even much of a movement in our industry), Soil-Tech has been instrumental in helping Clark County companies stay in compliance with EPA air quality regulations by providing safer development alternatives and promoting eco-friendly practices.

Always on the forefront of protecting valuable natural resources and scenery, Soil-Tech’s restoration division, Native Resources, specializes in Mojave Desert restoration and color mitigation. Native Resources’ advanced restoration technique allows companies to salvage native plants with minimal to no watering – helping to promote water conservation and preserve the natural environment. The division also provides burn restoration services, a process that restores color and vegetation to burnt landscapes. Native Resources’ restoration work can be found in developments, detention basins, golf courses, pipelines and transmission lines throughout the Southwest.
Soil-Tech’s patented assortment of environmentally friendly and cost effective products mitigates dust pollution and controls damaging erosion. Each product is designed to use less water than traditional watering techniques, again helping to promote conservation and helping businesses remain less dependent on one of our most limited and precious resources. Soil-Tech developed Plas-Tex™, a gypsum-based soil stabilizer, which is now the most specified product for public works projects in the Southwest and has been used on Interstates 15, 515 and 580. Soil-Tech owns patent rights for Permeon™, a simulated desert varnish used to blend unsightly “scars” on hillsides and other land caused by development, mining and major highway construction. Other products in the company’s impressive line include Ecco-Tex™, ACT™, and Chlor-Tex™. All of Soil-Tech’s products are designed to save money and promote eco-friendly techniques.
Soil-Tech continues to grow as more and more companies and government entities are relying on its proven techniques for environmental restoration. As educators, Soil-Tech reaches industry professionals and clients on the benefits of revegetation and how to properly execute and maintain a successful revegetation program. The cost savings alone has made Soil-Tech the go-to company for environmental services. For example, Xeriscape requires 17 gallons of water per square foot every single year in maintenance, yet native revegetation only requires three to four gallons of water per square foot - in only the first six months to a year.
While constantly discovering new revegetation techniques and developing greater benefit-producing products for the construction industry, Soil-Tech has grown. The company currently has satellite offices in Reno and Phoenix as is contracting on project sites in Texas, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, California and Washington. Notable projects include MacDonald Ranch, Mountain’s Edge, Anthem Mesquite, Ascaya, Lake Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Anthem Henderson, Bear's Best, Las Vegas Springs Preserve, Mojave National Park, Burro Creek, AZ, and Wolf Creek, CO.
