Soil-Tech developed its fence construction capabilities in response to our clients’ needs for habitat friendly solutions to protect the natural environment in ways that are not harmful to existing wildlife migratory patterns, and that protect the environment from trespassers who misuse and damage native habitats.
Wildlife friendly fence installation activities are focused on preventing human access to sensitive areas, while at the same time allowing wildlife to pass through the boundaries of native areas. Soil-Tech uses sturdy post and cable fence materials to create strong barriers that prevent access by the most determined off road trespassers. Our minimal disturbance focus includes hand raking tracks cause by our fencing crews so that Soil-Tech fencing appears decades old immediately after installation.
Other specialty fencing is designed to protect sensitive species – both plant and animal. Tortoise fencing in Southern Nevada and California is often necessary to temporarily or permanently keep the endangered desert tortoise away from the dangers of construction projects and development. Construction fencing is also regularly installed by Soil-Tech to protect sensitive plant species during construction activities.
