Springs Preserve

The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre cultural institution designed to commemorate Las Vegas' dynamic history and to provide a vision for a sustainable future. Soil-Tech was contracted the hydroseed the native grasses, shrubs and wild flowers that were a part of the entry features on the outside of the Preserve as well as inside the Preserve.

Conestoga

Pulte Homes hired Soil-Tech to seed the desert areas within and along the master-planned community’s golf course. Soil-Tech used native grasses, shrubs and wildflowers in the mix to allow for a more natural, vibrant way of restoring the once disturbed land.

Morningstar

In years past, mines were explored by small groups of people hoping to strike it rich. Unfortunately, as their search continues from site to site, they leave behind massive scars and often times dangerous exposed mineshafts. The Morningstar mine was one such abandoned mine. With a limited budget, National Park Service consulted with our team to create a solution where the remnants of the exploration were removed and the nature desert was restored. With consulting, revegetation and seeding, we were able to achieve great success.

Las Vegas Wash

The Las Vegas Wash is a riparian corridor that is an important resource for Southern Nevada. The wash is home to over 300 fish and wildlife species and more than 200 types of plants, and serves as a source of return flow credits to the Colorado River at Lake Mead. Since 2004, Soil-Tech has been tasked with conserving and restoring environmental resources of the Las Vegas Wash consistent with the Clark County Wetlands park Master Plan through: weed management, revegetation, stabilization of erosion, hydroseeding and installation of fencing.
