Created in conjunction with City of Henderson's overall goal to connect trails to parks and communities, Anthem East Trails was a unique challenge. This 3.7 mile long ADA accessible trail was built to enhance the Anthem community. Well spaced benches and unique vantage points offer walkers the opportunity for beautiful views of the Las Vegas valley and gorgeous sunset views facing the Red Rock Canyon.

Recycled asphalt and natural desert pavement were used on this moderate trail to facilitate access for everyone into a native desert habitat surrounded by the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area. Other features of this trail system include Soil-Tech's Permeon simulated desert varnish and revegetation , both of which enhance the natural features of the Mojave desert.
